Yay got another couple done!!!!!!!!

Well yesterday I was supposed to go out shopping for a few things for ISC but the scrapping called to me. I have had one layout ( Relaxed) started for ages and not had the time to finish it because of other projects. But Yesterday I got it finished. The other one ( He loves to Dance and Sing ) I had taken the photos a while ago and couldn't get any ideas for it, but because I was on a roll I just pulled lots of patterned paper out to see what I liked and went from there. I'm happy with both of them.... They are a little simpler than I normally do, but I have wanted to do simple for a while. Now I have caught up more than I thought I would before ISC and I can come back and get on with next months assignments and challenges with gusto. I will be no doubt buzzing, and have some terrific new ideas from ISC and lots of new goodies so inspiration should be flowing. Can't wait.

That's all from me I have to take my car for a service today, so I must leave soon.

Scrapping Just for me

Today I scrapped a layout for me. It seems like ages since I did one just for the fun of it, not for a competition entry, not for a Dt requirement. For no other reason than I wanted to.

I have done most of the projects I had to do this week. Two went in the post yesterday and my Dt page was done this morning. I have just the little finishing touches on the little mini swaps I'm doing and will post them tomorrow.

Next week I'm hoping to do nothing but spend lot's of time with the family and maybe some shopping before ISC.

Not much to say today so I will sign off till next time.

Terrible Week

So much for my wonderful start to the week, Tuesday I got a headache and couldn't do much of anything. I had it for 3 days!!!!!!!!! It didn't clear up till 7pm last night. I have so many things I want to get done and I just can't do a thing with a headache.

I did have some more great news on Wednesday, I won the Heidi Swapp Autographed book,' Love your handwriting' from Scrapboxx. It arrived today and it looks fabulous. I haven't had a chance to have a good read yet, but it looks like one I will read from cover to cover. I have been having such good luck lately it's fantastic. I never usually win a thing but I'm having a real run of winning and I'm loving it.

I got back to some scrapping today am really taking my time on the layout I'm doing as I want it to be spot on. It's shaping up really nice, It will be a good one I think. I still have 1 DT layout to do this month, but I have a plan for it, just need the time to get it done. I will probably get to it next Monday night at our regular scrap. Then I have to finish the little mini's I'm doing too, I've got a good start on those but I need some more ric-rac will head to spotlight in the morning and get some. Looks like the next week will be very busy.

2 weeks till ISC, boy I'm counting the days now. I can't wait, I'm getting more and more excited as the date draws near. ISC is so fantastic. I would like to have a quiet week before I go, spend time with the kids and hubby and no scrapping so I'm fresh when I get there.

Craige just put new tires on my car today and it goes in for it's service next Friday and it will get a full safety check as well. I like to know my car will be ready for the long drive to Sydney on the 4th November.

have raved on enough today so catch ya later.

Life's Good

Today I got the rest of my prizes for Masters, boy it is like Christmas and birthdays all rolled into one. I just love getting parcels in the post but these were extra special. How wonderful to get lots of surprises, fantastic goodies all for doing something you love. Life just can't be better.

I've been busy scrapping up a storm. Doing Dt pages and a couple of other projects I want to get done before ISC. I have also done swap tags, well my sister and I have done them anyway. I'm glad we got some done in the end.

Not long now, just under 3 weeks till we go to ISC. I can't wait, this will be the best ever I'm sure.

Don't have much more to say, so will head off to bed now.

see ya later.

The Great News Is Out

There are many very well know scrapper's on the list as well as some un-known's like me. I'm very honored to have been chosen as a Master this year. I'm so fantstically estatic about it and I'm not a 'shout from the roof tops' sort of girl, just a quiet achiever, but if you are reading this I would like to share my joy with you. I can't wiat to see the book when it comes out in December.

Thats all from me tonight see ya.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Boy has the past week been a busy one. Had more scrapping projects to plan when my DT pack arrived from Scrappers Warehouse on Tuesaday, got into them straight away and got the first one done that afternoon. It came together so quickly, I just love it when that happens, I really like it too which is also fantastic.

On wednesday I had lunch with two great friends and scrapping buddies. We were planning our trip to ISC in November. It is coming up very quickly now and chatting about it over a beautiful lunch, thanks marie you have to get me that recipe, is getting me very excited about it indeed. I just love ISC's they keep getting beter and better, I learn so much each time I go and have the most wonderful time. This will be my fourth Convention and I don't intend on missing any.

Thursday bought another scrapping day and another DT layout done. This time I did a heritage layout, my first, and I enjoyed it thouroughly. I have plans for another 2 Heritage one's now to finish off my DT commitments this month, but wanted some other bits for them so I had to put an order in and hopefully it will arrive on Monday so i can get them done. I hate having plans for layouts but have to wait for just the exact trim or embelishment for it before it can get done. Sometimes a substitute item will do but other times it has to be the specific one and it is always the one you don't have at the time. Boy I hate that. LOL!!!!!!!!!!

Friday a visit from my favourite nieces oh and of course their mum, my sisiter Taara. Which was great too, as she is also comming to ISC. We began discussing our tags for ISC, we had both had decided not to do any but we got talking about it and came up with a plan for them, and got started. Now we will have tags to swap. WooHoo.

Now today because I couldn't get on with the layouts yet, I got stuck into those tags. Good job, now most of the 50 I planned to do yesterday have been completed. this really was a bonus this month as I have so many other commitments I have to get done i really though I wouldn't have time for tags. Sometimes waiting on Australia Post is a good thing after all.

Well I have raved on so much trying to fit in all I did this week in one post it is time to go so until next time, see ya.

What a Glorious Day

Well today was a fantastically regular day. 4 of the children went back to school which left only Ethan home, what quite bliss it was. Household chores got done quickly and stayed done for more that 5 minutes. Errands down the street were more enjoyable with out having to say no to to many ' mum can I haves'. The weather was sunny and warm with a nice spring breeze. A nice regular day, just the way I love them.

I'm hoping to have some supplies arrive over the next couple of days so I can get some scrapping done. I'm ready to get into a couple of pages.

Till next time.

Productive Day

Well I had a great day scrapping with friends today. It was a long day though, as silly me stayed up late reading and didn't want to get out of bed this morning. So I was there-for tired most of the day, but on a good note I did get the layout done that I planned to do which was great, I did lots of time consuming hand stitching on it which I enjoyed doing and now it's finished I can get onto another project I have planned. The kids are back to school on Monday so I can get a little more routine back, and more scrapping done. I'm so tired now so I'm heading off for an early night.
Talk again soon.
