As promised

I thought I would share a couple of layouts from classes I did at ISC. These are the one's of Zina's that I did, I really did enjoy doing her classes as I love doing something different.

The first is from her doodling class, this was so much fun. I did finish this off at home and added a bit more doodling than the original of Zina's. Just got carried away. lol.

The second and third layouts were the layouts done in her reality check class. This class was all about simple layouts need not be boring. I totally loved this class!!! The Zina flare shone through with the hand written journaling and pen work which did make the layouts not so ordinary.

This last one is one I did at home using one of Zina's designs from the reality check class also. The products used in this class were great, I hadn't heard of them before and after the class I headed straight to the shops to find me some more of it. I love new products!!!! They can really inspire some great new layouts.

Ok that's enough sharing for tonight will post some others at a later stage.

Awards for Excellence

The book is out, I did grab a copy at ISC even though I think contributors will get a copy, I just couldn't wait to see it. I'm not sure what I think!!! It seams like just a repeat of the FK Awards announcement when it was in the regular month FK but with a few extra commendable entries layouts in it.

I had a double layout in as a commendable entry and it was photographed the wrong way, disappointing but never the less it didn't look too bad. It was done so long ago now it seems funny to finally see it in the book. It was a fun layout to do and It is one I look back on and am really glad I did it. These two girls have such a wild relationship I hope to document all of it, cause I know they won't remember most of it.

Tonight Mum, Tara and I are going out to the Gold Class cinema to see The Davinci Code. I can't wait, Loved the book and it will be such a special experience to do the movie in style. lol. It's out Mothers day treats for ourselves and for Mum as we have been so busy up till now with ISC and all, we organised it for tonight when it was first released, I almost forgot about it. Tarra did forget and I bet Mum has too.

That's it for me today I will share some of my ISC class layouts that I have completed next time.

Home and Inspired

Well ISC was a total blast again!!!! I'm home and so inspired, Zina you totally rock!!!! Used some fantastic new products and can't wait to get my hands on more of it. Since I have been home which was on Monday morning at 2am!!!! I have finished off ISC layouts and scrapped 3 of my own. Nothing Inspires me like ISC does!!!! Yeah you can try all the new things at home by yourself, but to do it in a class with awesome tutors and the most fabulous friends is sooooo much better and not to mention not having kids for an entire weekend is a refreshing change too. I met so many more friends this time too as well as the regulars how fabulous is that.

Well I don't want to sit here on the puter all day, the scrapping desk is still calling loudly to me!!! lol. But if you do want to see one of my new creations head over to Scrapbook Station and see my latest DT page. I'm not sure when it will be up but keep checking in, I will share a seek peek for you here. So loving scrapping ATM. yay!!!!

See ya.

Gold Coast here we come

Yay time has gone so fast and tomorrow we fly to the Gold Coast for ISC!!!!! I'm no where near ready still haven't decided on what photos to use for one class and have to go pick up some for other classes. Just packing and doing some washing now and then I have the boys meals to cook for the weekend. I'm kinda relaxed about it all this time I'm hoping for an early night for once, usually I'm still doing stuff at 2am before we leave. Taara should be already at the GC as her plane left Melbourne at 6am this morning, she is staying up there for a week for a holiday, lucky girl. I'm so looking forward to catching up with old friends and there is so many new one's for me to meet this time, friends I have met on-line. Well I had better get back to it or I won't be ready at all. Have a good weekend everyone.

Happy Mothers Day

I hope all you lovely mothers out there are having a fabulous day and your children are spoiling you rotten. I had a little sleep in and then was inundated by lots of lovely little gifts from the kids. Isn't it so wonderful that they love to spoil us on Mothers day. They get so excited and proud of the gifts they have chosen, I love that.

It has been the most amazing week for me, some really exciting opportunities have come my way. I can't believe it, I'm still pinching myself and my mind is so full I can't concentrate. I'll share one with you now..............I have been asked by Xyron to demonstrate and do workshops at the Melbourne Craft and Quilt Fair, in July. How totally awesome is that!!!!!!!. I was blown away to be given this extraordinary opportunity, thanks so much to Larissa from SM for suggesting me to them. I'm excited and apprehensive all at the same time. Rach thank you for answering all my insane questions and being so open and helpful to me, I really appreciate it.

ISC is at the end of this week now, so close I'm not ready yet haven't done a thing to prepare. Kim, Tara and I are doing an on-line class with Nic Howard tomorrow, should be lots of fun. I have made some lovely soup to share for lunch, should be a good day.

ISC and other things......

So time is passing by too quickly again. ISC is in less than 2 Weeks and I can't wait!!!!!! Catching up with all the lovely ladies only twice a year is getting to be not quite often enough. We will all miss the lovely Maxine this time, it won't be quite the same without her, it really won't. I have decided to attend the Scrap Happy Retreat in August, 2 wonderful friends of mine, Kim and Ray, own this shop and the last retreat they organized was an absolute blast, but I missed it. No way was I going to miss this one, they have Kerrin and Ngaire teaching, how awesome. Scrap Happy is also running a competition to find DT members, so if you want to be a part of this awesome team head over to the site and have ago.

I have been busy around the house I have done some serious clearing out, how does a walk in robe get to be the dumping ground for anything and everything I don't know. It badly needed to be done. I have been doing a little scrapping also some for myself, but I can't share sorry, and I have also done a class with Kim Archer and am doing another with her tomorrow. It's been so wet hear hasn't stopped raining quite miserable and cold too, I have been wanting to get out and take some photos of the kids for layouts I have planned but it's so horrible and dull I can't, it's so frustrating.

Some really exciting news I will be teaching at a retreat here in Victoria!!!!!! I got a phone call Friday from a local girl near me who has a Scrapbooking business and is having a retreat in October she would like me to teach a couple of classes. We haven't decided what quite yet but we will be getting together in the near future to plan the classes. How awesome is that!!!!! I'm really excited and a little nervous. Although I have taught a little this is so much bigger, she is also having a photographer and card maker to do some teaching. It will be such fantastic experience for me.!!!!!!!!!

Catch ya later
Trish
